Directions for Use
Apply daily in AM. Place three drops (a little goes a long way) on your fingertips and apply to treatment area; repeat if necessary if covering entire face. Gently press into skin and lightly spread over treatment area. Vitamin C can be used on all areas of the face. Remember the skin is not an up and down organism so the product once dispersed will spread to a larger area then what you see at the surface. 

PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
Vitamin C possesses definite, scientifically validated merits for wrinkle reduction and skin rejuvenation. As stated, Vitamin C has many benefits, the two most important being: Essential for the synthesis of collagen and reducing the skin’s damage caused by free radicals. Both of these benefits aid in the skin’s natural ability to repair and renew (i.e. wrinkle reduction, reducing signs of photoaging).

There are a few factors one must consider when choosing and recommending a quality product. First, the product must hold a high enough concentration of pure Vitamin C, secondly, one must pick a trust worthy source and be careful about the expires date and lastly, one must store it properly.

Our Vitamin C Emollient contains 25% L-ascorbic acid and is made once every three months and stored in a climate controlled environment. As a way of slowing the well known oxidization process down, we have combined pycnogenol® with our Vitamin C because it helps in stabilizing the active Vitamin C inside a cosmeceutical formulation. The dark amber color is not Vitamin C oxidization but is the color of pycnogenol® when added to formulation.

Special Note: Due to the high concentration of L-ascorbic acid, air can build up inside the bottle when capped. Follow these instructions for for best practice: This product should be kept refrigerated for 24 hours prior to opening. Open very slowly and allow to breath by placing product in cool climate with lid left loose for approximately 6 - 8 hours. Keep out of sun and DO NOT shake, as this will create air and induce instability within product. 

Please follow the directions of your skin care professional for recommended usage but be aware that infrequent usage combined with a natural process called oxidization, can and does create air inside this bottle. The air inside the capped bottle creates pressure which can create a phiz like sound upon opening as the trapped air is released and at times can cause the product to rise out and spill over. This is a natural side affect of the active ingredient L-ascorbic acid at such a high percentage. If and when this does happen, remove cap and place in refrigerator for another 24 hour period. The prescribed action of using this product daily allows air to escape on a daily bases as the process of oxidation persists and in most cases eliminates the build up of air inside the tightly sealed bottle.

Pycnogenol® is a manufactured product of of some forty different antioxidants that are extracted from the bark of a type of French pine. Scientists have found that pycnogenol® extends its effects and saves supplies of vitamin C within the skin, helping it retain its antioxidant fighting form and returning it to a pre-oxidized state. It has further been determined that pycnogenol® also increases the production of other antioxidants in the skin such as Vitamin E, thus actively helping the skin defend against free radical damage.

You cannot keep our Vitamin C for more then 6 - 9 months after purchase so daily usage is very important. Please keep it refrigerated and if this is not an option it must be placed in a cool dark place between use.
